Lake City High

DuCoeur, a junior, won all three matches, two by 6-0, 6-0 scores, to capture the boys singles title at the 5A Region 1 tournament last weekend in Coeur d’Alene High. DuCoeur, who is now 15-1 in singles matches this year, advances to the state tournament starting Friday in the Boise area. “He’s gotten bigger and stronger this year,” Lake City boys tennis coach Bob Brunn said. “Jack played great over the weekend. He’s already been to state twice, and his experience will be a key for him this week.”
