SPIRIT LAKE — Tyler Lohman scored 15 points for the visiting St. Maries Lumberjacks in a 58-50 win over the Timberlake Tigers in a nonleague game on Wednesday night.

“They hit a couple of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter that kind of did us in,” Timberlake coach Michael Scott said. “We had to press, and they were able to get some points off of it, and we couldn’t catch up. St. Maries executed really well. I think of all the teams we’ve played, they’re the best fundamentally and just worked hard all night.”

Jordan Hardy scored 18 points for Timberlake (1-4), which hosts Lapwai on Tuesday.
