Hospice of North Idaho invites the community to celebrate the 33rd Annual Wine Taste event on Feb. 3, 2018. The elegant black-tie affair draws local philanthropists who are inspired by the Hospice of North Idaho mission and the unique care they provide.

In the setting of the Hayden Lake Country Club, the space transforms into the 2018 theme, “Live Your Adventure, Choose Your Path.” More than 300 guests sample gourmet world cuisine from the area’s finest chefs. Hundreds of hand-selected specialty wine samples are an included benefit.

Each contributor to the Hospice Wine Taste feels inspired to support specialized care for their community. Many have had their own experiences of walking alongside a family member or friend through the Hospice experience.

In the forefront of the refined setting resides the purpose of the evening. Upon entering, guests are warmed with a feeling of belonging and connection with one another. Guests participate to honor the care they experienced with Hospice and to honor the people who provide that care in our community.

“We are inspired to continue the highest quality, end-of-life care.” said Kim Ransier, executive director for Hospice of North Idaho. “This community demonstrates a strong value for the specific care that only Hospice of North Idaho provides.”

Filled with excitement and gathered for a cause, guests play games to win adventures and excursions capturing the essence of the 2018 theme. Live auction items feature extravagant getaways, priceless opportunities, and one of a kind treasures. As in insider tip, take a sneak peek at the ever-increasing live auction items at HospiceWineTaste.org, then plan to bid with friends to win group adventures!

One lucky winner of the “Trip to Anywhere” raffle is announced at the Wine Taste. The raffle offers a chance to win a travel voucher for $4,995 to be used on any trip expense including transportation, accommodations, and excursions. The raffle is open to the public, and the winner need not be present to win.

Event coordination is championed by dedicated volunteers who have hospice stories of their own and choose to give back. With a heart for Hospice, Sheri Isch, event chairperson, and Brenda Wild, lead sponsorship coordinator, contribute their time to further the Hospice mission and lead teams of volunteers in the process.

Hospice of North Idaho has been the community’s trusted, non-profit hospice for 36 years and provides care in Kootenai, Shoshone, and Benewah counties. Contributions help people receive unparalleled care regardless of their financial circumstances. Hospice’s expert care includes hospice care, pre-hospice palliative care, grief response to workplace/community tragedy, grief counseling for children and adults, and private counseling.
