FLAG: Flying in fine fashion

Print Article

Spoken like a true trumpster, Reporter Devin Weeks attacked the tree top flag on the Fourth of July Pass — one of the few remaining patriotic icons in the country. Like the White House claims — “The tree is going to die anyway.” And to the Forest Service that sanctions and supports clear cutting, please remember that public lands belong to me, too — and not just you. I salute and applaud whoever defies gravity to secure the high flying flag to remind us we don’t have to take a knee to salute it.

Along with separating children from their parents, condoning Roseanne’s repugnant racial remarks, interfering with NFL policies and tearing apart endeavors that help keep us and our nation safe, there’s not much left — SO LEAVE THE FLAG ALONE!
