SIGNALS: Hand it to satire

Print Article

I got a chuckle out of Mr. Tanzerís letter rebuking Mr. Gannonís letter about new cars not installing turn signals. Years ago, I found if writing anything with satire, someone will take it literally.

If only Mr. Gannon had reminded everyone that hand signals with our arms for left and right turns was still an option, or perhaps itís not, would have defused the controversy. All I can say is our car has turn single options, but I canít figure them out yet.
