MALEK: Stands up to feds

Print Article

With the upcoming Republican primary on May 15th, many are asking who the candidates are and why they should be voted for. With such a high profile race for Governor, the race for our next Congressman has gotten very little attention. Of all the contestants, the frontrunner and best choice for your next Congressman is Republican Luke Malek. Why is that? In a world full of federal over-stepping into our everyday lives, only one candidate has stood to fight them, and that is Luke Malek. A Representative from Coeur d’ Alene, Malek has fought back on multiple occasions, though the following two are the most important.

The first is Obamacare — when the federal government wanted to implement Obamacare in the State of Idaho, Malek fought tooth and nail to prevent federal control of our health care system. As a result, Idaho implemented its own health care exchange, compliant with Obamacare which resulted in lower premium increases than other states.

Malek also fought for our individual privacy. In 2013, Malek sued Obama and other high-ranking federal employees for spying on private citizens through the NSA. The NSA tracked our messages online, phone calls, and text messages. As a result, the NSA threw out the information they had compiled.

Do you truly want to change Washington, D.C.? Elect the only candidate willing to fight for the citizens of Idaho. His website is Lukemalek.com. See for yourself why we need to vote Malek for Congress on May 15th.
