VOICES: Listening to evil

Print Article

Billy Graham in a 1971 Crusade spoke on “The Devil and His Demons.” In 1975, Graham published “Angels: God’s Secret Agents.” We are not alone. While NASA tries to find life beyond Earth, clearly there are other beings that influence what happens on this planet.

Some mass shooters such as Nicolas Cruz (2018), Esteban Santiago-Ruiz (2017) and Aaron Alexis (2013) talk of hearing voices.

Then there are the serial killers and sex offender-mutilators. It is not known how many people Ted Bundy killed. He confessed to more than 30 murders and acts of sheer depravity in seven states (1974-1978). “Bundy was the very definition of heartless evil.” He was raised by a sometimes violent grandfather who felt “unseen presences.”

Some Christian denominations realize that there is an escalating spiritual battle going on, and are training more people to understand deliverance from evil spirits (exorcism). The Apostle Paul says that we are “wrestling…against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Rabbis 2,000 years ago used exorcism methods, but it was Jesus Christ who spoke with authority against the Devil (Lucifer) and evil that enslaved people then and now.

Secular Education in America is big business. My wife and I have interviewed hundreds of students. It will not save us. Ted Bundy attended the University of Washington, University of Utah, Temple University and other colleges.

Dr. Josef Mengele (Nazi, 1938-1945) and dozens of other physicians selected victims to be killed in gas chambers and performed deadly experiments on prisoners. Mengele had doctorates in anthropology and medicine.
