TRANSIT: Center of attention

Print Article

Itís hard to believe that the city plans to go ahead with a transit center and offices for city personnel at a prime location, especially when a waterfront park is in the works for the Atlas Mill property. Wouldnít it be more reasonable to combine a public parking structure with the transit center? How about adding a gym or community center on the top that has a view of the river?

The mayor says heís happy because the city has a say in how itís built. Seriously? Of course you would have a say in something like that.
