COLLEGE: Make campuses healthier

Print Article

Yes, we all get it. When you go to college, you expect to be able to have as much fun as you want, right?

Well, over the many years, college students are getting each other drunk and making others do stupid, dangerous stuff.

If you ask me, college campuses should be “Alcohol Free Zones!” If high schools and businesses are “Smoke Free,” why aren’t colleges following in line with a healthy student body atmosphere?

Most of the students get a grant or a loan to go to school. Others have parents who saved for years to send their kids to school. Don’t you, as a parent, want your kids learning how to live on their own and make their own way in life? And not learning how to be an alcoholic at age 21?

If I could’ve had my college expenses totally paid for…I can guarantee you that I wouldn’t be spending my time drinking or doing drugs!

Just food for thought, people!
