TREE: Merry Christmas my foot

Print Article

To whoever lost their Christmas tree on I-90 just west of exit 7 (eastbound) last Saturday evening, we found it! Yes sir, we found that sucker at 70 mph!

Luckily there were no injuries or other vehicles involved as a result of that damn tree. Damage to our car was just under $1,900 (just what we needed). Whoever it was, and I’m sure they know exactly who they are, I just wanted to say thanks a whole bunch for not spending the extra 2-3 minutes it would have taken to secure your load prior to driving down the interstate. Thank goodness the lost Christmas tree wasn’t a ladder or Grandma’s old rocking chair.

Check out Idaho code 49-613(4) and please spend the extra time securing your load next time.
