PRESS: More outside coverage

Print Article

Re: Letter from Kevin Fox on Wednesday, Jan. 1

Well this is easy! I agree with both subjects and comments in your letter. University of Idaho and Washington State get a lot of coverage in the Press, while Boise State coverage is hit and miss. I get it, the other two universities are closer. However, more coverage on Boise is certainly warranted for all the reasons you stated in your letter. And it is in the state of Idaho.

I subscribe to The Press because I like to get a glimpse of what is happening in our area. However, I also like to read about what is going on globally. You always have a page on world news that is picked up from AP only. Certainly there are other news sources that provide current world news other than AP that would give a broader picture of our world happenings.

Per a story recently printed, Idaho and Kootenai County are growing by leaps and bounds. Please grow with it!
