TABS: A design nightmare

Print Article

We applied for new license plate tabs for one of our vehicles recently. Kootenai County turned it around in near record time, but when the tabs arrived this week, what a disappointment!

Who in heavenís name decided to use dark blue for the background and black for the numbers on the 2019 tabs? Common sense 101 has apparently gone by the wayside. No wonder law enforcement officers and others who need to read the stickers from a distance have a hard time. The ones we replaced were white background and black numbers, a very good contrast, easily read. Someone in Boise actually got paid well for designing this glaring mess!
