CDAPD officer earns perfect score with K9 partner

Officer Bangs of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and his partner K9 Halo recently completed a six-week Idaho State Narcotic certification course. They passed with flying colors — a perfect score.

Halo is now certified to find methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

Officer Bangs also recently traveled to Arizona to complete a seven-week course in K9 apprehension. Together, he and Halo have dedicated 13 weeks to study and hard work in order to better serve the citizens of Coeur d’Alene. (Source: CDA PD via Facebook)
