Police investigating report of shots fired on Paris Road

Police responded to shots fired in the 1500 block of Paris Road at 1:15 a.m. on Monday, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

After learning that a car had been hit in the gunfire, police found the car near Noble Court and Worley Street and shell casings in the area.

The amount of damage is unknown and no injuries have been reported. The investigation is ongoing.
