NFL: Crazy priorities

Print Article

According to the NFL Player’s Association, the average 2017 annual salary for an NFL player is $1.9 million.

The proposed annual base salary for an Enlisted E-1 in the U.S. Military is $19,464.

What part of this makes sense? Those who play a game to cross a white line (for our entertainment) are paid almost 1,000 percent more than an E-1 who puts his life on the line to provide them the freedom to play that game. And to show how much some of those millionaires appreciate the E-1s’ sacrifice, they sit on their ass or kneel during our country’s National Anthem.

Unbelievable.
