Youth coalition to host legislative forum

Boone County's state senator and five state representatives are scheduled to speak at a legislative forum to be hosted by the Youth Community Coalition next Tuesday.

The forum is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hickman High School gym. Youth substance abuse, bullying and mental health resources are the issues up for discussion.

State Reps. Cheri Reisch, Kip Kendrick, Martha Stevens, Chuck Basye and Sara Walsh, along with state Sen. Caleb Rowden, are scheduled to attend.

The event is from and open to the public.
