LEROY: For Congress

Print Article

I have known David Leroy since 1978 and feel he would be the best choice to be our next First District Congressman. He has been Idaho’s Attorney General and Idaho’s Lt. Governor. He has held county office and also was head of a small Federal Agency for President Bush 41.

He favors term limits, a balanced budget, following the Constitution of the United States without attempting to change or add new laws that alter its meaning.

David, as a Constitutional Conservative, favors a limited smaller well focused federal government and recognizes that the people of the United States hold the power and that Congress and the president work for them. He wants to end the gridlock in Congress and will create alliances with other congressmen who feel the same way.

He feels we have too many federal bureaucracies that hurt people in many instances because of ill-administered and poorly designed programs. He would like to have insurance companies and medical doctors allowed back into the competitive market place and be certain that pre-existing medical conditions be provided by state options and not controlled by government mandate, penalties and taxes.
