THANKFUL: To be free

Print Article

Last week, while I was waiting for my little angel to be out of the operating room, in prayer and deep subconscious experience, I realized that the number of people who die because of the religions in the world are well beyond and far exceed the number of people who die from cancer, and we are still fighting for a cure for cancer.

The minute I entered into the Kootenai Health outpatient surgery center, my little boy and I were received with love, comfort and respect. I experienced what it means to be a doctor or nurse, the hospital angels.

I am so thankful that my boy has the blessing to be in and be part of this country, The United States of America!

I am thankful that he is here in the safe tower of God, having a safe place of peace and people to love him as God does.

I am thankful that he has a place to rest and sleep in a comfortable bed and not in the wilderness, fleeing from the vendor of religion in Iraq or Syria.

I am thankful and weeping tears out of my heart that not all the kids of the world have what Karem has today.

Up to 14 billion bullets are made globally every year, enough to shoot every person on the planet twice. It is SO sad most of them are used in my homeland.

Ten percent of that money used to burn up my childhood world could be invested to educate people and free them from the ferocity of a religion.

Let us speak it out just for the sake of the world’s children and say, enough of the religious violence.

Thank you God for our USA.

Thank you for our Kootenai Health, our doctors and nurses. Thank you God that you made America the place of shelter for spontaneous dreamers.

Thank you for the American dream.

Thank you America.
