WORD: Writer defends use

Print Article

Shanna V. Bublitz’s recent diatribe about the use of a word “Libitard” really uses many of the talking points of the political correctness police. The word LIBITARD, pronounced LIB IT T.A.R.D. We all know what it is to be liberal (progressive, socialist, communist, etc.)! For me the TARD portion of Libitard means TRUMP ACCEPTION REJECTION DISORDER! Retard means to impede; to delay academic progress by failure to promote! That is what the left does, fails to promote.

Shanna put into her claim the word “bigot!” Where is her “tolerance?” Where was her outrage when the now Ms. Clinton spoke the words “What difference does it make” (Benghazi hearing) where four Americans were killed? Where is her outrage when it comes to the millions of babies murdered by federally funded Planned Parenthood, many of whom are Down Syndrome children? How about Killary calling all the Trump supporters “deplorable?” Where is her outrage when the likes of Hollyweirdo Madonna comes out and threatens to Blow Up the White House? When Ashley Judd said “nasty women” and her menstrual cycle?

Shanna V. has not read the First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Apparently we all enjoy the First Amendment, including Mike Patrick of the Coeur d’Alene Press.
