MARRIAGE: Religion unhitched

The following remarks are not in support of The Hitching Post specifically, but to the position that the Christian must violate Biblical teachings and requirements in order to accommodate the desires of the Pagan society we find ourselves in! The Bible makes homosexual activities abominations to God. There are many instances where God punished his people severely for straying from His teachings and requirements to participate in societies Pagan hedonistic practices.

If I were a baker and homosexuals came in to buy a cake, I would be happy to bake them one to their specifications. However, if they wanted it decorated to make it an implement or decoration peculiar to their homosexual activity, they would need to get that done elsewhere.

It is also completely unreasonable to order a Christian minister to perform a homosexual ceremony so completely in violation of Biblical principles. There are churches and pastors who will perform these ceremonies. That is between them and their god!
