SCHOOL: Stellar praise

Print Article

Betty Kiefer Elementary School is an A+ school in Rathdrum. Betty Kiefer is a school for kindergarten through sixth-grade students. If your child is looking for a new school, Betty Kiefer is a good recommendation for you.

Betty Kiefer Elementary is a kind school. On June 19, 2016, we lost a third-grade student at Betty Kiefer Elementary. In memorial of her every month, the fourth-grade students do Art For Amber to remember Amber’s love and talent of art. Betty Kiefer Elementary school also participates in a tremendous amount of donations and fundraisers. For example, we collect money for Jump Rope For Heart which is a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. This association uses the money to help children with heart issues or complications. These are some of the many reasons our school was just awarded the 2017 Idaho State School of Character award.

Our school counselor, Mrs. Miller, does a special program for troubled students. For example, if a student is having trouble with a friendship, the student will ask their teacher for a blue slip. Problems are then solved and your child will focus on learning instead of on other school or home issues that impact learning.

If you are looking for a new school, Betty Kiefer Elementary is the best school for you. It is an A+ school with a lot of fun. Remember your child will be in good hands.
