TICKET: Hard winter harder

Print Article

I live on a downtown residential street. I park in front of my home. This winter has been hard, as we all know.

In January, I fell twice on the ice on the street, both times hurting my shoulder and leg. The city left all the ice and snow at the curbs.

I started parking the wrong way so I can step out of my car onto my walkway that I clean and sand.

In February, I got a ticket for $15. I called and talked to Sam Taylor about this. I wrote a letter to the city about my problem and was told I would hear back. STILL WAITING. PAID TICKET.

On March 7, it snowed hard at night so I parked the wrong way again. Well guess what?

I hope the city needs $15 from a handicapped man with a new hip and knee.
